  • Bringing the Village back to Motherhood

My name is Chelsea, and I'm a devoted wife to my wonderful husband, Jordan, and a proud mother to our beautiful daughter, Delilah. She is the inspiration behind our journey to open a dedicated maternity store in Utah.

When I was pregnant with Delilah, I struggled to find maternity clothing in stores that I could try on. Jordan and I searched the Salt Lake Valley extensively, but the maternity wear options at big box stores were minimal or nonexistent. We discovered that Utah lacked dedicated maternity stores, as many locations had been closed by national chains following the COVID-19 pandemic and shifted to online sales.

This situation was particularly challenging because my body was changing rapidly, and I never fit "standard" measurements. As someone who is 4'11", I rarely buy clothing without trying it on, and during pregnancy, I needed comfort and proper fit more than ever. Buying maternity clothes online seemed too risky.

My pregnancy journey was further complicated when I was diagnosed with placenta previa, making it a high-risk pregnancy. Despite the challenges and fears, thanks to an excellent medical team, Delilah was born three weeks early via a planned cesarean, weighing 7 pounds 5 ounces. She was perfect and healthy, and so was I.

These experiences ignited a passion in me. In the early days of motherhood, I noticed a significant lack of community support for mothers. Determined to make a difference, I researched and planned to open a brick-and-mortar maternity store in Utah. After extensive research and hard work, we are thrilled to announce the opening of our first physical location at the Shops at South Town in Sandy, Utah.
